About

I’m interested in the space between structure and intuition, where systems create order without limiting possibility. What happens when a system is interrupted, viewed differently, or allowed to evolve? I like structure, but wonder what exists outside of it. I consider myself a student of the world: curious, observant, and open to following an idea to somewhere unexpected. Mindful of patterns, contradictions, connections, and synchronicities; continuing to ask what's underneath them. My design practice spans identity, typography, print, large scale print & digital environments, web, and visual systems...using visual language to direct, question, and alter perception. I think through making; my mind full of color, shape, pattern, typography, grids, mathematics and ratios (golden and otherwise) exploring how things relate as both visual tools and ways of thinking.
